Junior Membership
Under 8 – Under 16 – Volunteers

Junior football matches can only be conducted not only with players but a host of parent volunteers to carry out various roles so our children can enjoy the benefits of our great game. It is a requirement of all parents that enrol their children at the Sharks that they help out in the running of the team. Some of the roles that are required are things like Goal Umpires, Umpires Escorts, Runners, Waterboys, Boundary Umpires, Trainers, Timekeeper, Oranges, Canteen etc . Usually, teams will organise a parent roster before the season commences, some roles may be permanent if requested.
The committee has implemented a policy that will see your child not play that articular game if you are rostered on and fail to carry out the duty. If you are unable to make it on the day it is your responsibility to find someone to fill in for you. It is envisaged that you will be required to carry out the roles only 2 – 3 times a season.
The Committee has had no choice but take a stricter stance on this issue as some members have refused or are not willing to volunteer. If you feel you don’t want or can’t volunteer for whatever reason you can now opt for a Non Volunteering Membership at an additional cost of $140 per player.
