Recognition of Service

The Recognition of Service Award recognises the exceptional contribution of individuals to the Hillside Football Club and is therefore only awarded in exceptional circumstances.

  • This award is for recognition of special and valuable services rendered to the club in a non-playing capacity eg committee, coach, team manager) for a period of time in excess of 5 years.
  • A Maximum of five (5) Service Awards shall be awarded in any given year.
 

Life Member

  • 10 years of service as a member of any Sharks committee in an administrative capacity or any person involved in a non-playing role (by nomination)
  • 200 senior club games
  • 300 club games
  • A combination of the above (by nomination).

*Recipients must have previously received a Recognition of Service award to be eligible for Life Membership.

Nominations will be investigated by a panel to ensure the nominees are eligible and then a selection of a maximum of 5 Recognition of service awards and a maximum of 2 Life members can be chosen.
